In a few short months I’ll be walking down the aisle towards my best friend. We’ll become husband and wife. For a long time though, I didn’t think I’d get married. There were a handful of guys I dated that shouldn’t have made it past date two and a handful that never made it to date one. I was certain that I was forever doomed. But when you’re young sometimes you don’t know, ya know? The last guy I date though, right before Daniel, well that lasted way longer than it should have. My friends listened to me talk about him. Did they tell me to move on? Maybe. You couldn’t tell me anything though. I was in need of a good shaking. Read on if you can relate or thats you now, I have just the book for you, The 9 Mirages of Love.

Last week I mentioned that June was Men’s Health Month. The article I read by Chris Oresti made me want to read his book Help On The Way. Healthcare is a topic that is on my mind a lot lately. My parents are now both retirement age as of this year. Their health is OK most days due to the cocktail of pharmaceutical drugs that allow them to be. I’ll be moving out in November after I get married. They’re well being is a priority. Neither could afford a financial blow due to unexpected medical expenses. It peaked my interest to read about the possibility of using a life insurance policy to pay for assisted living and home care. Read on to read an excerpt and my thoughts on the book. The other day I was looking through the showings at the Bow Tie Theater and ran across a movie called Chef. I had never heard of it and wondered what it was about. I clicked the tab for the Storyline and was surprised by the cast. LOTS of Hispanic names including my favorite Modern Family actress, Sofia Vergara. A chef who cooks … who doesn’t like watching the cooking channel? Chopped anyone? Read on to see if you’ll waste your time watching Chef . . . I’d be surprised if you told me you hadn’t seen The Fault In Our Stars yet. When I watched it on Friday the theater was packed with mostly teenagers, guys AND gals. Adults were sprinkled in for good measure. There were little girls sitting in the very first row and some sitting on my right. I was distracted by the talking and the SHUT UPs. It’s one of the reasons why I try to catch the latest matinee showings. When the ushers would make their sweeps of the theater you could hear the crowd of people waiting in line to see the next showing. I might have to watch The Fault In Our Stars again because I’m sure there are parts I missed. BUT … Read on to find out why you should see The Fault In Our Stars.
When Heaven Is for Real first came out I had to see what it was about. From the previews I saw that a small boy undergoes surgery and tells his father that he’s seen Jesus AND spent time in heaven. I’ve been sitting on this review because I couldn’t decide what I wanted to point out to you. After several months, I’ve realized why I had such a hard time writing a Heaven Is for Real movie review. Read on to see if Heaven Is for Real is a movie worth watching. Continue reading [ Movie Review ] Heaven is FOR REAL!
