discount shopping djRelat7 Finds overstock.com

Do you O?

I wanted to take a second to highlight one of my favorite sites, Overstock.com.  It is a major serious site because it carries thousands of brand names in hundreds of different categories.  Shipping is always $2.95 to ship YOUR ENTIRE order.  Shoes, jewelry, bedding, books, furniture, sports equipment, video games….the list goes on and on.  I found a pair of shoes that I couldn’t find in a store on this site.  I can NOT express how excited I was by that.  Ladies I know you feel me on this one.  Gentlemen looking for Golf Clubs, its that time again, OVERSTOCK.com!  Last year I picked up a nice set of golf clubs to learn on, I got a great deal and $2.95 shipping. WOOHOOO!  Well I’ll let you go now so you can browse the site.  Keep the upcoming graduations in mind, I’m sure you’ll find tons of choices!

Happy Shopping!

Dust Off Your Books Club Live Journal reading

Dust Off Your Books Club

Come join us as we blow the dust off the books we’ve bought, are dying to read and never get to! Official Kick Start Date is June 7th 2010.

Ms. Pillowz and I were talking the other day about all the books we have on our shelves that we are trying to get to.  Yet, as if by magic, more books appear making the list of books to get to longer and longer.  I always say, “I’m going to stop buying books until I read the ones I have!” Then I open my email and see a really good coupon for Borders and a list of books that I might like.  I love the emails telling me, one of my favorite authors is releasing a new book!

Anywhooo we decided to make an effort to get to all these books, 1 at a time. Make a commitment today to read at least one book a month.  Report to the rest of the community of the Dust Your Book Off Club on Live Journal and let us know periodically throughout the month, passages that move you or make you laugh by quoting it.  This is not a “Pick a book and Discuss it” Club.  At the end of the month let us know if you liked the book by giving it a letter grade of A-D; A being the best and D being the worst. Also include if you would suggest it to others.  If you didn’t like it, be kind in your critique and give a general reason why you did not like it.  Please never give specific details as you never know, your book this month might be someone else’s next month.

What if you finish the book before the end of the month?  This may happen!  You could get through the book in 2 days, some books are that good, I KNOW!  So if you wish, pretend its the end of the month, do your review and then start your next book 🙂

You will need a Live Journal account to be a part of the community.  Its free, so no worries!  Once you have set up an account, friend myself, or Ms. Pillowz and we’ll send you an invitation to the community.  You can find me at http://djrelat7.livejournal.com/ and Ms. Pillowz at http://mspillowz.livejournal.com/.  The more the merrier!

If you have any questions, feel free to send us a message.
