This past April I challenged all My Pocketful of Thoughts’ readers to shine light on their beauty. Men and women alike can get caught up in life and all that it entails. We get super busy and things that were once a priority change up. We also get into routines that are reshaped over and over again to get out every single possible minute of the day doing something. Do you ever find yourself running around without giving your appearance a second thought?

It’s the end of week 4 of the Aprill #Frumpy2Fab Challenge. The challenge was started by Saidah from A Proverbs Wife to up her game while working at home. I started the challenge in February as a way to challenge myself to use the clothes I had in my closet and the makeup I had purchased. I had such great feedback during that month that I was inspired to spread the word. It has been a great learning experience for me. Have you been participating?
Good morning loves! How are you looking today, FABULOUS right? If you’re just tuning in a few weeks ago, in April’s #Frumpy2Fab Challenge, I challenged everyone to step up their game! Some of us, ladies AND gents, get comfortable at home or at work and we let appearance slide. I am SUPER guilty of this. After having several conversations with some of my friends on the topic, we decided to do something about it. Of course I have to take you along for the ride! Are you taking the challenge? There’s still plenty of time to jump in!
If you are taking the challenge make sure you’re tagging @djrelat7 and #Frumpy2Fab on Instagram or Twitter!

Until then,
In January I read a post on the site A Proverbs Wife, where Saidah challenged women to up their game at home. She explained that as a stay at home mom, it becomes easy to get into a slump. It is comfy to stay in pajamas if you do not have to leave the house. While I am not a stay at home mom, I knew that I was in a slump. I had clothes in my closet and makeup to paint my face with but I wasn’t using either. I remember months back I would say to myself, next month, you’ll start next month and take extra time to get yourself put together. Or else its just wasted money. The next month would come though and I’d still grab the same jeans, throw on a comfy t-shirt, slather my facial moisturizer on my face and call it a day. Do you have days like that too?
